THANK YOU SO MUCH for this. You have a heart of gold, sharing these tutorials. Im so grateful.
Happy to help! It feels good to share what I have learned from others!
Thanks for these videos! Interesting that when you play this at slow speed you play from the balance point…and then it’s the other way for the fast speed. First time I noticed this difference 😊
You have a very sharp eye! Yes, the tempo affects bow stroke, and we need to adjust the part of the bow to use.
As a violinist, pianist, recorder player and euphonium player, I know that it is a cello cuz of thumb positions and harmonics
You have an amazing talent! Which instrument are you going to learn next?
@@Cellopedia I am teaching my student viola next week
Amazing 🤩 Have you tried a double bass?
@@Cellopedia not yet, might try it out
Ive played for almost a year now, as I’m working on a rendition of el choclo and L. V. Beethovens Menuett in G Major.
It looks like you are playing fun music!
What are you going to learn next?
Thanks!
It actually still sounds really nice at a slow tempo. That’s the speed I’m at with this piece right now lol
I am glad to hear it. Mastering the piece in slow tempo is one of the most important steps.
Thanks for the tip
Happy to share!
Чуть медленнее и выразительнее, ярче оттенки - будет пьеса В непогоду. А так - технический этюд Черни.
Очень точно подмечено! А если чуть громче и с пафосом, то будет концерт Чайковского.
The quarter notes should be marcato!
Thank you ! Anything else?
This will help me so much in community orchestra! Can’t believe I did not learn it before. Really enjoying these lessons and learning a lot.
Shit bro.. 😮
I am 17 I started learning cello six months ago and now a week ago I started learning cello suite 1
It looks like you are learning fast!
I used a sheet music that I found on the internet but watching your video I realized that I used some of the wrong fingers. Sonically it was identical, but the fingers are wrong. Could you make the sheet music available? Big hug and Brazilian greetings
Amazing!!😊 Very good:)
Another great lesson 😊
Thanks!
Thank you for your support! I will keep making videos for this method
Wow, somehow in all my lessons, I did not learn about shifting this way, or combining shifting and extensions as appropriate. Sending a thank you. This was gold!
What etudes do you recommend to start practicing for thumb position?
Good question! I put couple of links for them in the description.
Feuillard's Cello Method for young cellists 49-56 and F. Grant no. 170 - 177
I can print the etudes from imslp. Thank you for responding to my query; it means a lot to me.
Very good tips. Marcos from Brazil
WOW YOU PLAYED ALLLL THE NOTE SOO CLEAN 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
What BPM do you play the fast section?
Cellopedia is really helping me practice. Thank you, cellopedia!🎉
oh no too difficult for me. But i would like. but it's a little late now.
Do you like playing in thumb position? Any advice for other cellists? Show your thumbs up 👍 or down 👎
I just can't transfer over to the thumb fast enough so I tend to stretch
@@Doge_Coin1111 we can sometimes do it too!
What level do you need to have to play this study n°7?
I would say upper intermediate. Are you thinking about learning it?
I love this piece! You help me a lot when it comes to piece like this. I put on headphone and follow along with the slow version :) This piece is beautiful and I’m getting the hang of playing in treble clef too!
Thank you so much for your kind words! What will be the next concerto for you to learn?
where are you from?
I am a citizen of the world! What is your country?

How long have you been playing cello?
Yes!! So true this these exercises are the foundation of so much music. I wish I had done these before joining (very back row) community orchestra. Better late than never? I am so grateful for all of these lessons!
In my experience, the one who is enjoying the process of learning, makes the fastest progress 🔥
@@Cellopedia Well now I will make you blush because I have never enjoyed practice until having you to “hold my hand” as it were. In fact I have been really bad about practicing. Your videos are saving me! 🙏🙏🙏

Page 24 if you have the book. These lessons are so great. Thank you.
Tutorial? I kind of get confused because of the different clef and flats. It would be REALLY great and REALLY helpful if you made a tutorial! Also very beautifully played!
Thank you! I am thinking about making another Udemy course to include this piece!
@@Cellopedia Awesome! I’ll be waiting! 😊
Grazie. Per favore, puoi aggiungere anche sottotitoli in italiano?❤
